The committee implements humanitarian and community programmes that serve different groups in society and strengthen social solidarity, responsibility and volunteer work.

About the committee
The Social Service Committee carries out humanitarian, social, health-awareness and recreational initiatives for seniors, patients, children, orphans, children of unknown parentage, social care centres and the wider community. It also supports national and community events, cooperates with official entities and civil society organisations, and assists other team departments in organising and delivering programmes.
The committee remains committed to serving society, participating in national and humanitarian initiatives, and responding to the nation's call in different circumstances, including disaster-response support and preparation of shelter centres when needed, by providing recreational programmes for children, distributing basic needs and preparing relief supplies.

To contribute to building a compassionate and cooperative community where humanitarian and volunteer work thrives, and where social initiatives support groups in need and serve society.

Organising visits to senior centres and social care centres to strengthen community connection and support.

Recreational and awareness activities for patients and groups that need moral and community support.
Health awareness
Health and awareness events in different community occasions and initiatives.
National events
Participating in national and community events with official entities and civil society organisations.
Humanitarian campaigns
Awareness campaigns and humanitarian initiatives that enhance health and social awareness.
Team support
Supporting programmes and events of other departments and helping organise them with a one-team spirit.

Orphan care events
Recurring events and activities for orphaned children, delivered with partners such as the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, Al Kawthar Society and Al Sanabel Orphan Care Society.
Senior centres programmes
Humanitarian, recreational and health programmes for senior centres to bring joy and strengthen community communication.
Cancer patients support
Visits and moral-support programmes for cancer patients, with participation in Pink October breast cancer awareness activities.
Social care activities
Social, recreational and awareness programmes for care centres for children of unknown parentage, including entertainment programmes and lectures.
Autism Society Ramadan programme
Participation in the Autism Society annual Ramadan event and presenting a special programme for children.
Mother's Day initiatives
Social activities that appreciate the role of mothers in the community.
Diabetes awareness
Awareness events for World Diabetes Day to spread health awareness among the public.
Mental health awareness
Awareness programmes for World Mental Health Day to promote the importance of mental well-being.
Healthy cities activities
Participation in healthy cities activities that promote a healthier lifestyle in the community.
Mall awareness events
Awareness activities in shopping malls to spread health awareness and enhance first aid culture.
Gergaoon and Eid joy
Social and heritage events such as Gergaoon, Eid Joy programmes and community activities during Ramadan and Eid.
