When a mass casualty incident strikes, the first responders on scene have seconds — not minutes — to make decisions that determine who lives. The START Triage system gives them a proven, systematic framework to act fast and act right.

This workshop equips your team with the full START methodology: from rapid patient assessment using the RPM criteria, to correct categorization, triage tag usage, and integration within the Incident Command System (ICS).

Delivered by certified emergency professionals from Life Pulse BH in partnership with the National Civil Protection Platform, this is the most practical MCI preparedness training available in Bahrain.

Overview of disaster medicine, Mass Casualty Incidents (MCI), triage principles, and introduction to the START system framework.

Detailed methodology, ethical triage principles, and the "greatest good for the greatest number" decision framework.

Hands-on training in Respirations, Perfusion, and Mental Status assessment — the three pillars of the START decision algorithm.

Rotating hands-on stations using triage tags, mannequins, and scenario cards. Participants practice triage decisions in controlled settings.

Full-Scale Mass Casualty Simulation
Realistic MCI scenarios: explosions, multi-vehicle collisions, and CBRN events (chemical exposure, biological outbreaks, radiological hazards). Participants execute rapid START triage under live time pressure.
